Sprites are collectible companions from Fortnite Battle Royale. Each is a small creature with a passive perk that tags along once you've unlocked it. You turn them up in chests during a match and extract them to keep them for good, then summon them later using Sprite Dust. Most sprites come in several finishes, and each finish counts separately, so everything ever released adds up to 191 to collect. Yes. The Community tab shows what collectors are catching as it happens, and you can add anyone from there with one tap. Only people who have set their profile to public appear, and you can switch yours off at any time in your profile.
No. Anyone can react to a post with an emoji, but written comments can only be left on a post by someone you have added as a friend, and adding a friend needs their friend code. Comments are also checked automatically before they post: links, email addresses, phone numbers, other apps and requests for personal details are all refused. Any collector can be blocked instantly.
Only if you ask it to. Notifications are off until you turn them on, you choose which kinds you want, and you can switch them off again from inside the app. On iPhone and iPad they only work once Sprite HQ has been added to your Home Screen, which is an Apple restriction.
